A Morton's Reunion!

As kids, a regular play date spot was Morton's Warm Springs, in Glen Ellen, CA. There were a few families - the McIsaacs, Buttkes, Bordessas, Cordas, Rossottis - that would get together fairly often and spend the day picnicking and playing in the warm pools. It seems like it's been forever since the last time we all got together there, and I was so excited to be able to take the boys for a reunion trip!
When we got there, we sat down for lunch, knowing it would be at least a few hours before I would be able to pry the boys out of the water long enough to eat something!
It was great to see Nettie, Judy, Sandy, Clarette & Christy and let all the kids play around on the grass! There were a few who could not make it this trip, so we're hoping for a re-reunion next summer!

Morton's features 3 swimming pools... one only a few inches deep for the little guys, a middle pool, and a larger, deeper pool - the larger pool had a diving board when we were kids. Seems it's since been removed due to liability issues.

Sharing a Sprite

The weather was perfect! We were worried when we hit Vallejo and it was socked in with fog and we had sweatshirts on, but Glen Ellen welcomed us with open arms and warm sunshine!
