In honor of June is Dairy Month, the California Milk Advisory Board has put together a list of 30 dairy-licious tips. I really enjoyed the tips that are given here, to include Real CA dairy products into each day of the month...
For example...
#6 - Dip your favorite berries in sour cream, then in brown or powdered sugar
Sour cream, huh? I'm going to have to give that one a try.
#9 - Top your cottage cheese with applesauce, cinnamon, walnuts and raisins for an extra treat
I think I could get the boys to eat cottage cheese if I mixed in some of Grammy's applesauce! Sounds yummy!
#17 - Butter takes away the "fish smell" from your hands! Rub 1 tsp on your hands after handling fish, and then wash with soap and water
Who knew?
#29 - 1% chocolate milk is one of the best post-workout recovery drinks around
This one is definately my favorite! Next time, skip the gatorade and go for the chocolate milk instead!
