Annie's Cal Poly Graduation Weekend!

It has been a Long time since I have set foot in a bar at 6 AM, but duty calls when your baby sister is Graduating from College! As time goes on, things change... No longer is Bulls The place to go in SLO, this year the destination was local. It was definately the first time that I've waited in line for a bar to open, before their lights were even on!
We arrived at 5:45 AM (bar opens at 6) and were the First ones in line! Pretty awesome to be the first ones on graduation day!

While I was a little concerned about what I'd be able to drink at that hour, the Mimosas were flowing Very nicely!
Dad, Uncle Mike, Mom, Aunt Jan and Annie
Cheers!

We weren't the only ones for long!

Breakfast is served!

And these two though Jaeger Bombs were a good idea! Ha... I'll settle for photographer this round! Bottoms up!
This was the line... stretched down the block... when I left at 7 AM to wake up the boys and get them ready for the ceremony. Many of them expected to wait an hour or more! So glad we were the early birds!

During the graduation ceremony, the boys found some kids to play with out on the grass, where it was Much cooler.

The rest of our group stuck it out in the hot bleachers.
The dove release... and the video monitor - she's in there somewhere!!

A BIG Squeeze!

Dad, Uncle Mike, Cole, Grammy, Katie, Aunt Jan, Annie, Aunt Diana, myself, Chris & Clayton
Congratulations, Annie!!

Sistas! This is the first picture of the three of us in a Long time!

After the ceremony we spent the day at the pool. Cole left this trail as he crawled from the pool to the hot tub to find Clayton. Clayton & Uncle Mike had some fun in the hot tub!

At dinner, Cole surprised all of us by showing off his Mad Straw Skills!
Woo-Hoo! No need to pack a sippy cup anymore!

A trip to San Luis Obispo

The boys and I headed down to SLO to visit Auntie Annie one last time before she graduates in June!! Woo Hoo! Congratulations, Annie!!
The fog was creeping over the Cuesta Grade as we drove down Hwy 101...
Clayton stopped to "pet" this "guy's dog" on our walk downtown for some dessert...

Then he had to stop and ask this guy "Where da Bulls at?" In another 18 years, we'll explain that one to him!

Frozen yogurt at Bali's - Auntie Annie's favorite! Clayton had chocolate and banana fro-yo with sprinkles and worms! Cole just wanted to go to bed.
For breakfast, Auntie made us farm shaped waffles... Clayton ate the cow!

Then we made a visit to the Avila Valley Barn... So much fun! They had a bunch of animals and a huge fruit stand. Clayton even got to check out the chicken house!

Cole loved the animals, too... the peacocks even had eggs in their nest!
Clayton picked out a basket of cherries as his treat... and posed with them!
Then off to Avila Beach! The weather was a little crummy, but the boys didn't seem to notice!

There is Always fun to be had at the beach... playing in the sand, building a village, collecting treasures... we got in about an hour of playtime before the rain came back.

Watching the waves for just one more minute...
