I am thankful for the Holstein Cow.
This incredible creature has provided for our family for many generations. I am a 5th generation California dairy farmer, and my husband is a 4th generation California dairy farmer.
Each of our families have raised Holsteins - the beautiful black & white, and sometimes red - cows.
She is a pillar of strength. A testament to the times. And looking around the farm at the many generations of cows in our herd, she is very much a part of our family.
We are extremely
thankful for the farm life, but there is also an ultimate appreciation and gratitude for the cow. The reason that we are able to farm and raise our family the way that we do.
